Strange Photo
We have recently received a photograph which was taken
on the weekend of 5/6th June 2010, at the Midland Age groups, Coventry. On closer inspection there appears to be a face that we might recognise, conducting a ceremony?
Does any body have any further information?
Latest ASA News for Officials
Licensed Officials
Are you a Licensed Official? If yes then this message does not apply to you. If, however, you are qualified as Judge Level 1 or above and you are not yet licensed then please read on.
From 1st September 2010 all ASA Open Meets Licensed at Level 1 or Level 2 require all Officials qualified as Judges and above to be Licensed Officials.
All newly qualified Judge Level 1 officials should have received the relevant form for completion upon qualification. Any official who has attained an additional qualification may also use any new qualification to enable them to license.
If you are not yet licensed and you have not attained any additional qualification within the last 12 months all is not lost. You will need to demonstrate that you have undertaken the FINA Rules Update 2009 and “Contemporary Issues,” the Officials Awareness course, as well as being an active official during the previous 12 months.
Application forms are available on the website or from your County/Regional Officials organiser (Stuart Highfield).
Please note that some Counties/Regions have made arrangements with IoS to pay the initial licence fee or will reimburse those who have licensed. Please contact your local Area Coordinator (Stuart Highfield) for further information about this.
The 2 mandatory Courses referenced above will be provided by your County/Regional organiser. If you are having difficulties locating the course you require please let me know.
